GitHub

Fusion integrates directly with GitHub Projects to help your team manage bugs alongside development tasks. Follow the steps below to set up the integration:

Step 1:

  • Log into https://github.com and sign in to your account.
  • Click New Project to create a GitHub Project.
  • Choose a name and set it up under your profile or organization.

Step 2:

  • Generate a Personal Access Token (PAT) in GitHub to authenticate Fusion:
  • Click your profile picture and select Settings
  • Go to Developer Settings and select Personal access tokens
  • Click Generate new token
  • Select required scopes such as repo, write:issues
  • Click Generate token and copy it immediately (you won’t be able to see it again).

Step 3:

  • Go to the Bugs section in Fusion and click on the Integrations button.

  • Paste your GitHub Personal Access Token into the integration settings.

Step 4:

  • Select the GitHub Project where Fusion should send bug reports. This ensures that every bug reported in Fusion is created as a new item inside your chosen GitHub project board or table.

Step 5:

  • Save the configuration. Fusion is now integrated with GitHub.

Step 6:
Report a test bug in Fusion to confirm the integration. Once configured, bugs will appear in GitHub Projects as new items containing:

  • Title
  • Description

Step 7:
To view reported bugs in GitHub:

  • Log into https://github.com
  • Click on your profile or organization
  • Navigate to Projects
  • Open the project you selected during setup
  • You’ll see Fusion-reported bugs as new items on your project’s table or board view
