Integration with Asana

Fusion enables direct integration with Asana to help synchronize task tracking and bug management across teams. Follow the steps below to set up the integration:

Step 1:

  • Log into https://asana.com with your account. Either create or choose an existing project where bug reports should appear. Within that project, you can create sections or task groups to organize bug items.

Step 2:

  • Generate a Personal Access Token (PAT) in Asana for authentication:
  • Click on your avatar/profile. From there select settings
  • Go to the Apps tab
  • Click Manage Developer Apps and select 'Create New Token'
  • Copy the generated token

Step 3:

  • Go to the Bugs section in Fusion and click on the Integrations button. Paste your Asana Personal Access Token into the integration settings.

Step 4:

  • Select your Asana workspace and the project where Fusion should create tasks for bug reports.

Step 5:

  • Save the configuration. Fusion is now integrated with Asana.

Step 6:
Report a test bug in Fusion to confirm the integration. Once configured, all bugs reported in Fusion will automatically appear as tasks in Asana, including details such as:

  • Title
  • Description
  • Repro steps
  • Priority
